Meister is coordinator and host for Macy’s series of four hourly fashion shows. She will be joined as host by Tony Lorino of 99.7 FM The Point.
The Live Lookbook fashion shows will feature summer trends and styles for men’s, women’s and children. Meister, creator of Jana Style fashion blog and a Lee’s Summit resident, will also give away five Macy’s gift cards with one winner receiving a $500 shopping spree and styling session with Meister.
To say she is excited would not do her enthusiasm justice. Asked to rate her anticipation for the event on a scale of 1 to 10, Meister replied: “10.”
“It's going be amazing,” Meister said.
Also on tap is a Beauty Brands Style Lounge focusing on beauty makeovers.
The 99.7 The Point Lounge will offer interior design concepts while featuring home decor products from JC Penney Home. The Point Lounge will focus also offer design demonstrations from Lee’s Summit-based KHL Design Studio, floral arranging by the Fiddly Fig, and a "make and take" tutorial from the "DIY Diva", Beth Eaton of The Ruffled Daisy.
In addition, the Olive Garden nosh court will serve small plates in the Point’s design lounge from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
Meister has already checked the weather forecast for Saturday and she is certain the event will be a success.
“No rain,” she said. “But rain or shine, we will be there.”
